For couples or two people, we have a great options available. Its our Suzuki Jimny, this vehicle comes with all of the necessary camping gear and rooftop tent. This vehicle is specifically designed for two people, as we have completely removed the rear seats to maximize the available room.

In our Suzuki Vitara and Nissan Xtrail, you’ll find versatile vehicles perfect for your 4×4 camping adventure. All equipped with plenty of storage for your gear and spacious interiors capable of accommodating up to 5 travelers. For those who prefer traditional ground setups, complimentary standard tents with cozy inflatable mattresses are part of the package. Plus, if you’re traveling with little ones in need of safety seats, rest assured that our Suzuki Vitara and Nissan Xtrail category is designed with family comfort and convenience in mind.

Unfortunately, our wheels aren’t available for those under 21. On the flip side, there are no age limits for the little travelers in your crew. Just give us a heads-up before you book, and we’ll happily provide baby or child seats free of charge to ensure everyone rides in comfort and safety.

Rest easy knowing that our third-party damages are well-covered, with up to US$400,000 for personal damages and US$100,000 for property damages. Our vehicles themselves are fully protected.

Should you come equipped with insurance from your credit card company or personal coverage, just give us a heads-up, and we’ll gladly waive our insurance costs. Your peace of mind is our priority.

Keep in mind that most of the campsites offers amenities like restrooms and cooking areas, others might be more primitive. It’s always a good idea to check the specific regulations and facilities at your chosen camping site.

Our insurance offerings are conveniently divided into three options, allowing you to tailor your coverage based on your needs:

Third Party Liability (TPL): This comprehensive coverage extends to all damages related to third-party personal and property damages, legal fees, as well as damages to other cars or property. The coverage is substantial, reaching up to US$400,000, and comes with a comforting ZERO deductible/Own Risk.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Encompassing all damages to our vehicle in the event of accidents, theft, collision, or other damages, CDW provides coverage up to the full value of the vehicle. The deductible ranges from $1,200 to $1,500 USD responsibility/risk, with smaller cars carrying a $1,200 deductible and large cars a $1,500 deductible. Anything beyond these amounts is covered.

100% Tire + Window Insurance Coverage: This specialized insurance takes care of ALL damages to windows and tires, offering a soothing 0% Deductible/Own Risk. Your peace of mind is our priority, ensuring comprehensive protection without any deductible for these specific areas.

You have the flexibility to utilize your personal insurance or credit card coverage without any issues. However, we’ll need you to furnish evidence of your insurance that explicitly covers Costa Rica and 4×4 rentals. It’s worth noting that certain vehicles, such as Suzuki Jimnys and Toyota Hilux, fall under the “Exotic” category for some private or credit card coverages. It’s crucial to scrutinize the fine print of your provider’s terms to identify any potential exclusions.

Failure to present valid proof of your insurance or opting out of coverage through our provider renders you entirely responsible for any damages incurred to the vehicle and third parties.

If aspects regarding insurance remain unclear during the booking process, worry not. We can delve into the details in person, allowing you to add the necessary coverages when you come to pick up the car.

If you decide to stick with your own insurance provider, all financial transactions, reimbursements, paperwork, and communication will be exclusively between you and your provider.

Should you opt to drive without insurance, we strongly recommend, at the very least, acquiring Third-Party Liability coverage. This coverage shields you from potential risks, unpredictabilities, and higher costs associated with damages caused to other individuals or property.

The insurance arrangement stipulates that only one person is authorized to drive the vehicle. If others in the group wish to take the wheel, simply choose the additional driver option during the booking process to ensure coverage under the insurance provider. If this slips your mind, don’t stress—it’s something we can easily address at the office on the day of pickup. Your peace of mind is our priority!
